Seoul-based designer Seungjin Yang has created a collection of seating objects called ‘blowing series’ where he coated balloons with epoxy resin. The motivation behind the set was that yang wanted to transfer his childhood memories into the fabrication process of industrial furniture making. He first starts by blowing the balloons into the shapes and sizes needed and then fixes them into the desired chair form.
